Life as of late...

It's been a little while since a life update post. It's been so busy over here that I'm still waiting for summer to get here;)

It's still been pretty busy at work, but we got to have a little fun with our clients a few weeks ago at Colonial Downs. Seems a little inapprop-a financial advisor supporting a night of gamblimg-but hey, you gotta have some fun in life, right?!

Still spending the weekends here...

Two weekends ago, we packed up the cars and headed down to Pinehurst for FCA's golf camp. It was quite possibly the best 48 hours I've had so far in 2012. Obviously, Pinehurst is known for it's beautiful golf courses and old Southern tradition, so we we're pretty excited because it sounded right up our alley (Mom & Dad were the only ones who had been there, so they knew what to expect).

I was shocked at how much I absolutely loved it. It is such a quaint town that it didn't almost seem real. Who knew places like this really DID exist?! All the huge porches with fans, adorable boutique shopping, cute restaurants, and of course, everyone was so pleasant. Us girls are already talking about another weekend trip to get away and shop;)

I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the following iphone pics...I was a terrible picture taker that weekend...

The camp was amazing as well. It was so cool to see all the middle and high schoolers eager to learn how to better their game, encourage each other, and just be incredible testimonies to their beliefs and the game in general. I love everything FCA stands for, so this was incredibly exciting for me to be in on the action. Front row seat baby.

I didn't get any pics of the campers (it always seemed to be an inconvenient time to try to snap a pic w/o being obvious), but Tobymac put on a concert that night, not only for the campers, but for the whole town, and I did get some pics of that! He's such an amazing guy...he didn't take a dime from ticket sales, but had all sales go towards FCA.

Just got back from vacation, so I'll be working on that post very soon!
